Anime Ramping Up
Yes, you heard me right… Anime is ramping up to being a leading online entertainment option for many. Places like animeonline.net and minitokyo.net consistently have 500+ members in their forums with discussions ranging from anime and manga to graphic design and wallpapers. And these aren’t the only 2 properties that are focussed on the world of anime. There are at least another 5 big websites all targetting the same niche.
Anime is rather new in the US, and so too in Japan. It only really came about in the 1990’s in Japan, and now has taken on beyond the artists’ expectations. You can find salarymen reading comics or manga on trains during their daily commute to the office.
No doubt about it, Anime is here to stay for the long term.
